This means that most returns are due to size – not the product itself. So the goal was clear: more customers should choose exchanges instead of refunds.
“This is where Returnflows has truly helped us generate far more exchanges instead of sending money back.”
43.09% convert to gift cards or exchanges – even though free exchange isn’t offered
Since Din Vintage Shop went live with Returnflows, 43.09% of their returns have been converted into gift cards or exchanges. And notably, without offering free exchanges.
“That says a lot about how well it works,” says Anders.
We can now almost handle all returns fully automatically at our third-party warehouse – it saves us huge amounts.

From manual handling to Auto Close
Previously, return handling was heavy and manual. Today, it runs almost by itself. “We can now almost handle all returns fully automatically at the warehouse – it saves us a lot of time and especially resources as we reduce the third-party warehouse’s involvement.”
This means that the warehouse basically only has to open the package and restock the products – and then all return handling is done.
This is made possible by the Returnflows feature Auto Close. Customers can follow along on the status page, and because everything is integrated directly into Shopify, the overview is always just one click away.
